This cute little fellow's name is Beau. He was 9 years old when he came to PAWS on 8-7-14; and he's a Shih Tzu mix. He and three of his friends were abandoned by their family. The family moved and left two of them in a crate on the front porch, and the other two tied on the front porch. A good Samaritan saw their plight and contacted PAWS. Now Beau is searching for a home and family who will love him and let him live with them forever. He's cute as he can be, but he's shy and not very friendly around strangers. He will probably warm up and be fine after he gets to know you and gets comfortable in his new surroundings, but you will need to be patient and take it slow and easy with him. He has been neutered, micro-chipped, tested for heartworms (he tested negative), is on a heartworm preventative, and is current on his routine shots except for a rabies shot which a vet will have to give.
